ANTIGNY AND NARAYAN TO JOIN PANTERA PRESS

Léa Antigny has been appointed Head of Publicity and Communications at Pantera Press. Antigny has previously worked at Giramondo Publishing, Pan Macmillan, Text Publishing and Penguin.

“I’m excited about taking this next step with the incredibly talented and driven team at Pantera. The company’s commitment to publishing with a social purpose, and the clear vision of their publishing direction in 2020 and 2021, is energising and refreshing. I’m looking forward to working with the exciting new authors on Pantera’s list and helping introduce their books to the world,” said Antigny.

Kajal Narayan will also be joining the company in the position of Marketing Manager. Narayan has previously held roles at Rockpool Publishing and Harlequin Australia and, most recently, at HarperCollins Publishers as the Senior Marketing and Communications Executive.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Pantera team. It’s such an exciting time of growth for the business and I can’t wait to be a part of it,” said Narayan.

Pantera Press experienced strong growth in the last year and were named a 2019 Nielsen BookScan Heatseeker for the third year in a row, making them one of the top independent publishers showing both significant short-term and long-term growth in Australia.

Antigny will start on February 5 and Narayan will start on February 10.
