Lauren Draper promoted to Head of Publicity and Communications

Pantera Press is thrilled to announce that Lauren Draper, who recently joined our team as a Senior Publicist, has been promoted to Head of Publicity and Communications.

Lauren brings to our team extensive experience having worked in publicity roles at Black Inc and UQP, and as Marketing and Publicity Manager at Hardie Grant, managing campaigns across a varied list of non-fiction, fiction and children’s titles.

Pantera is also saying farewell to Publicity Director Léa Antigny whose last day will be Thursday 5 October.

Draper said, ‘I’m thrilled to be stepping into this new role, and already feel so at home with the team. I’m so grateful to Léa for her early guidance and to the wider team for their confidence. I can’t wait to lead the publicity team and to champion the brilliant books on our list.’

Antigny said, ‘I am so proud of my time at Pantera Press and will miss the team immensely. Navigating the pandemic years, launching exciting new acquisitions as the business grows, and working alongside a team of wonderful publishing experts has been a privilege. Immense gratitude goes to the Pantera authors who trusted me with their stories, and to booksellers, festival and library event programmers whose publicity support is invaluable. Pantera’s 2024 list is incredibly strong and with Lauren on board, I can’t wait to see the team go from strength to strength.’
