Pantera Press is thrilled to announce that LinLi Wan will join our team in the newly created position of Trainee Editor, starting 25 July 2022.
Wan brings with her a variety of experience having worked as a literary agent’s assistant at Alex Adsett Literary, a bookseller at Dymocks and a fiction editor at Voiceworks.
‘As an avid reader of Pantera Press’s list, joining their team is an absolute dream come true,’ Wan said. ‘Pantera Press’s mission to publish stories and storytellers that spark change very much align with my own values, and I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to learn from them and grow with them.’
Editorial Director Kate Cuthbert said, ‘we are so thrilled that LinLi is joining Pantera Press. Her enthusiasm for the industry, the scope of her experience, and her wide-range of interests make her a welcome and exciting addition to our editorial team.’
Pantera Press was recently named a 2021 Nielsen BookScan Heatseeker, an award recognising short-term and long-term growth, and shortlisted for the Australian Book Industry Awards Small Publisher of the Year 2022. 2021 was the fifth consecutive year of Heatseeker recognition for Pantera Press.
